It was 2007, few Past Pupils of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda get-together to represent the school for Olcott Schools Alumni community at its inception. Since then, Past Pupils of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda continue to grow their unity with remarkable contribution to the local community. As of date, with the capacity of hundreds of Sokians, we are preparing to undertake much more towards the local communities and for the Alma matter.
Although it was a small group in 2007, continued almost a decade consistently serving the Olcott Schools Alumni as Sokians UAE Chapter without any recognition as a formal group by the School or the Old Boys Association. Finally, on 7 October 2016 we, Sokians – UAE, have become a formally recognized group by Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda as a branch established in United Arab Emirates of Old Boys Association of the School namely ‘Dharmasoka College Past Pupils’ Association – United Arab Emirates’ (‘DCPPA – UAE’).
This was achieved as a result of trust & honesty acquired including the unity and strength of Past Pupils of Dharmasoka College residing in United Arab Emirates.
Now we, DCPPA – UAE, with utmost strength and abundance of unique skills of its members, have enlarged the community and render where it deserved in compliance with DCPPA – UAE vision, missions and its objectives.
